Arrive to Queenstown and collect your NZSki MyPass from the Snow Centre
Welcome to Queenstown for your winter ski or snowboarding holiday. It’s not just the skiing that makes Queenstown a fantastic winter destination, there’s also the spectacular scenery, amazing adventures and endless activities to keep you entertained when you’re not on the slopes. After each action-packed day, you’ll also find a superb variety of cafes and restaurants to relax and refuel at.
Today we recommend you visit the Snow Centre located on the ground floor of the Station Building at 9 Duke St and collect your MyPass card. This will save you heaps of time tomorrow as you’ll avoid the morning queues and can head straight to the mountain with more time to ski and ride. When you visit the Snow Centre please take your Ski New Zealand itinerary with you as the Snow Centre staff will need the reference number for this. You will need to pay $5 for each MyPass card and each person in your group receives their own card. All your lift passes, rental equipment, lessons, shuttle transfers etc will be loaded onto your card.
SUGGESTED ACTIVITY - Million Dollar Lake Cruise
Cruise to the end of Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown and see more scenery, more mountains and more sights. You'll enjoy fascinating commentary including intriguing stories and the history of the area. You'll journey on a luxury heated launch and there's a bar on site for refreshments.

Shuttle to the mountain with Info & Snow
You will be picked up from central Queenstown in the morning and taken up to the ski field. Your seat will be reserved for you so you don't need to worry, just enjoy the ride and beautiful views.
The Remarkables Ski Field
The Remarkables offers a laid-back atmosphere which is fantastic for families and those new to skiing or snowboarding. Located just 45 minutes from Queenstown, the Remarkables features a fantastic network of trails with wide, gentle slopes for beginners of all ages and big mountain runs for the experts in the family. With 30% beginners, 40% intermediate and 30% advanced, the Remarkables offers challenges for all levels and for those wanting to progress quickly, the friendly team of instructors can be with you every step of the way. While you're up there don't forget to check out the purpose-built snow tubing lanes before you round off with a steaming hot chocolate or drink at Remarkables cafe. With regular shuttles from Queenstown, lessons for 4yrs+ and complete gear hire on the mountain, this is a fun and easy day out for visitors to the South Island.
First Timer One Day Package at The Remarkables with NZSki
If you have never been on snow before this is the package for you! You'll learn to slide with confidence whilst having fun. Under the expertise of your Snowsports instructors, you will be introduced to your equipment and the environment. You will learn the basic skills of staying upright, stopping, riding the surface lifts, and perhaps start to change direction.
SUGGESTED ACTIVITY - Clothing Rental with NZ Ski
Everything you need is available directly on the mountain, no need to carry it all up. You'll find the latest clothing gear to keep you warm and comfortable on the mountain. If you want to swap, exchange, upgrade or if you find something's not quite right, they'll take care of it on the spot. There is the added flexibility of returning your rental clothing to Coronet Peak, The Remarkables or the Queenstown Snow Centre, irrespective of where you picked it up. If you want to get fitted out the day before you start skiing or boarding, and know that you have your gear early, pick it up at Snowbiz in Queenstown.
Please note: you can not hire out gloves, goggles or sunglasses for hygiene reasons. Please bring your own or these items can be purchased from the retail outlets on each ski area, or in town.

The New Zealand Superpass is the most flexible lift pass in New Zealand, giving you access to ski and ride Queenstown’s closest mountains – Coronet Peak and The Remarkables. Get more choice, more fun and more snow time with your New Zealand Superpass and make the most of your New Zealand holiday!
The New Zealand 1 Day Superpass is your ticket to fun both on or off the mountains. The New Zealand Superpass can also be used as a Twilight Pass on applicable days at Coronet Peak (visit the Guest Services Desk to swap to a Twilight Pass). If you decide not to ski you can also swap your New Zealand Superpass for credit towards a selection of off-mountain activities, retail stores, bars and restaurants in Queenstown.

You'll be placed in a group of similar abilities and under the expertise of your Snowsports instructors, you'll build on your basic skills, grow in confidence on challenging terrain, and iron out any bad habits.
